Our products are 100% quality hardwoods sourced locally from primarily sustainable timber harvests. We take payment via cash, check or credit card.
Twigs follows the guidelines that are set out by the UNH Cooperative Extension for Firewood in NH. Moisture content determins the catagory firewood falls into. Green firewood has a moisture content over 50%. Seasoned Firewood between 20 and 30% moisture. Dry Firewood less than 20% moisture.
While it is not an exact science, Twigs test its firewood with a moisture meter to be sure our products are meeting these guidelines.
It is suggested that once you have received your firewood it is best to stack and get it off the ground. Covering the top will prevent rain from penetrating your stacked wood.
